The Moxhull Hall is one of my most favourite venues ever! It will make a stunning backdrop for your wedding. From a photographer's perspective, I appreciate the good quality natural light as well as the stunning gardens that are so well looked after! The staff are amazing and they will make sure your wedding day runs smoothly. I'm looking forward to coming back to the Moxhull Hall soon!
I was invited to a family wedding, here, back in June. The grounds are sumptuous; with interweaving paths, a magnificent water fountain pond and a large lawn. It's great for photos, with the old arch ways, as a back drop. I stayed in the courtyard, which is along the driveway from the main building. The bed was comfy, the room was quiet from the double glazing. I was a bit confused at first, as I couldn't see any tea / coffee and washing / shower soap. In the main wardrobe were sachets of tea, coffee and a selection of biscuits. Whilst in the draw, of the bathroom sink, there were soap packets. The bed was lovely & Soft, and everything was nice and clean. The rear outside patio, facing the garden, is where you assemble for drinks; which are reasonably priced. From there we had a lovely three course meal, in the long dinning room; with the main attendees on a table crossing the front. Weddings take place beneath the trees, with seating around a small wooden stage. In the evening they opened a separate ballroom, in an outdoor gazebo in the grounds. It had a large black and white, decorated tiled dance floor. Kept cool by two large giant refrigerator type air conditioners. A large taco counter, a sweet counter, and mini bar supplied any supplements you needed. A very good wedding experience, the staff were helpful, and discreet.
We went to Moxhull Hall for a wake and the grounds and the lounge were excellent. The buffet food was good and the staff friendly and professional. The drinks were not badly priced All in all recommended for a family and friends get together such as wedding, christening or birthday and even a wake. The lounge overflowed into a garden and was large and well kept.
