I have thoroughly enjoyed my time carrying out work experience at Lisa B Interior Design. Lisa has been very welcoming from the beginning, she has been a huge inspiration to myself in the world of business and the industry of Interior Design. Throughout the months of April and May 2018 I took part in my work experience with Lisa B Interior Designs, which was an incredible period of time. LisaB has undertaken a number of interior design projects for us. I am a residential landlord with a portfolio of apartments in Harborne - our target market is medical professionals, they are half my age, so I rely on LisaB to deliver an on-trend makeover of my interiors to attract these very discerning tenants. I was initially a little anxious when she presented her first few projects to us - to my predictable safe ‘Ikea’ approach to furnishings they appeared outrageous. I was struck by Lisa’s belief in what she was proposing and her very persuasive arguments to let her takeover the delivery of the whole package. It has proved a huge success, not only did she create an amazing much admired interior, but she took responsibility to source all of the interior and project manage the installation. It has given me the confidence to charge premium rentals, knowing that when I open the front door to show a prospective tenant a ‘LisaB’ apartment they are wowed by the whole space. I expect a return on my expenditure within two years.
